Welcome to Rhythm & Melody Music Academy ("Academy", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website (https://www.rhythmnmelody.com), our academy studio services, online/offline courses, instrument rentals, and digital admissions CRM.

By visiting our website, booking a demo class, enrolling in any course, renting musical instruments, or making any payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.

1. About the Academy

Rhythm & Melody Music Academy is a premier music education institution established in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. We provide certified musical instrument coaching, vocal training, sound production classes, music workshops, student recital opportunities, and musical instrument rental services.

2. Course Admissions & Enrolments

2.1 Registration & Demo Sessions

• Trial / demo sessions may be booked online through our website or directly at our studio. Confirmation of a trial slot is subject to teacher availability and studio schedule.
• Course enrolments require completion of the admission form and payment of the applicable course fee before attending regular scheduled classes.

2.2 Class Scheduling & Attendance

• Classes are held in designated weekly batch slots (individual or group) as agreed upon during enrollment.
• Students are expected to attend classes on time. If a student anticipates being absent, at least 24 hours prior written notice (via WhatsApp or email) is requested to qualify for a replacement / make-up class, subject to slot availability.
• The Academy reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen teacher absence, national holidays, or studio maintenance, in which case a make-up session will always be scheduled.

3. Fee Payment & Billing

3.1 Payment Methods & Security

• Course fees, admission charges, and instrument rental charges are payable in Indian Rupees (INR).
• Online payments on our website and portal are securely processed through RBI-authorized payment gateways, including Cashfree Payments. We support Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Net Banking, and digital wallets.
• All online transactions are encrypted via 128-bit / 256-bit SSL encryption and processed through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified gateway infrastructure. The Academy does not store complete card credentials or CVVs on its servers.

3.2 Payment Cycles & Due Dates

• Course fees are payable in advance on a monthly, quarterly, or session-block basis, as specified in the student invoice.
• Digital receipts are generated immediately upon successful transaction confirmation and sent via email/WhatsApp.

4. Musical Instrument Rental Terms

Where the Academy provides musical instruments on rent (Guitars, Keyboards, Violins, Percussion, etc.):

• Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is mandatory for all instrument rentals before physical handover.
• Physical Handover & Return: Both parties shall inspect the instrument at handover. The customer agrees to maintain the instrument in good condition, normal wear and tear excepted.
• Damage & Loss: Any physical damage beyond normal wear or loss of accessories/instrument will be assessed at repair/replacement value and deducted from the security deposit. Any excess will be billed to the customer.
• Deposit Refund: The security deposit is refunded promptly within 24–48 hours after the instrument is safely returned and inspected.

5. Code of Conduct & Studio Etiquette

• Students, parents, and visitors must treat teachers, fellow students, and staff with mutual respect and courtesy.
• Musical instruments, sound gear, amplifiers, and studio equipment must be handled with utmost care.
• The Academy strictly reserves the right to terminate enrollment without refund in instances of misconduct, harassment, property damage, or violation of safety rules.

6. Intellectual Property

All original teaching material, sheet music, practice tabs, syllabus outlines, recordings, academy logos, and website content provided by Rhythm & Melody Music Academy remain the intellectual property of the Academy or its respective rights holders. Materials are for personal learning only and cannot be reproduced, sold, or distributed commercially without written permission.

7. Photos & Video Media Policy

The Academy occasionally photographs or records video snippets of jam sessions, recitals, and class progress for student memories and academy social media showcases. If any student or parent prefers not to have their media shared, please inform us in writing at enrollment, and we will honor your request.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we take all reasonable care to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment, Rhythm & Melody Music Academy, its directors, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our facilities or website, personal property brought to the studio, or internet connectivity interruptions during online lessons.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect updates in our courses, fee structures, or statutory regulations. Any modifications will be posted directly on this page with an updated revision date.
